Global One Big Campus Proposal
Background and Purpose
Utilizing the closed campus of Gangwon-do a University to attract and establish a prestigious American private school.
①Need to establish an international school in Gangwon Province
②Changes in the educational environment of neighboring countries
-Chinese authorities restrictions on the establishment of new international schools
-Increased demand for Korean education in the Middle East and Central and South East Asia due to the influence of the Korean Wave, such as K-POP.
③Changes in the environment for establishing international schools in Korea with similar cases in Songdo Reference - In 2021, a Canadian school corporation (we) utilizing the former Catholic University of Korea College of Visual Arts building in Songdo International City 4, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, was finally approved through a review by the Incheon City Office of Education
Direction for Establishing Foreign Educational Institutions
①Unlike other regional international schools, we plan to recruit more than 50 percent of its students from abroad to ensure a stable student recruitment rate.
②To attract foreign students, we plan to build 'student dormitories' and 'residences for teachers, students, and teachers' families' on the school site with private investment.
③In consultation with the Ministry of Justice, we will introduce the 'Real Estate Investment Immigration System' and actively utilize it to attract foreign student families.
Business Destination Promotion Plan
①Promotional marketing activities
We plan to divide the target area for student recruitment into four sections to attract more than 50% of international students.

①Securing Chinese students and children of overseas Chinese.
-Bilingual education for Chinese students and children of overseas Chinese.
-Introducing a bilingual system to provide Chinese+English classes in the bilingual school section of the education center.
-Classrooms in the bilingual school section, and move to the international area from grade 9.
